“We stayed in the pod Sydney for 2 nights. We could check out late which was nice. We got free towels and the rooms were very clean! We didn’t need to do laundry but if we wanted we could do that for free! Because our train left in the late afternoon we could store our luggage in the hostel which was great! We had a great stay!”

“Overall the experience staying here was great. Bedding was nice and comfortable, facilities were clean, location was central and the staff were so nice and accommodating. My only critique is that the storage room is technically accessible to anyone I'm sure the staff are keeping an eye on who goes in and out but would appreciate a bit more security when using this service. Otherwise really recommend this for solo travellers”

“I stayed at the Pod for 12 nights and had picked it for its location in the heart of CBD. Overall the accommodation is extremely clean including all the shared spaces, which I think encourages guests to keep it that way. It's very quiet as it's not the sort of hostel which organises social events but I wanted that and everyone was very respectful in keeping the noise down. The staff were all really warm & friendly and very helpful with anything I needed. They all made my stay very special given I'm a slightly older than the average backpacker! I'd definitely recommend The Pod as a good place for the price, location and amenities.”

“The hostel is so clean. The facilities all modern with usb and usbc outlets. The staff are really friendly and helpful. It isnt a social hostel which is perfect for a nice quiet relaxed stay. Very good location and great price. They provide towels at no extra charge and they let me have a late midday check out. Highly recommend!”

“I’ve stayed at this hotel 3 times already, and every stay has been amazing. The service is truly excellent — the staff are always friendly, helpful, and make me feel very comfortable. Even though it’s a sharing room, it still feels surprisingly private and cozy. One thing I really appreciated was when there was an issue with my booking because the hotel was fully booked and there was a problem caused by a previous guest, so I couldn’t stay in my original room. However, they kindly arranged another accommodation for me in a 4-star hotel with a private room without charging me any extra cost at all. I was honestly very impressed by how professional, responsible, and caring they were in handling the situation. Special thanks to Manager Gong for the excellent service and kindness. I truly appreciate all the help and effort to make sure I still had a comfortable stay. Overall, this place is really amazing. The atmosphere, cleanliness, service, and experience always make me feel satisfied. I will definitely keep staying here every time I visit Sydney. Highly recommended!”

“I felt really comfortable staying here from start to finish! Booking through their official website was super easy and straightforward—no hassle at all. The whole hostel was spotlessly clean, including the pods, common areas and bathrooms, which made my stay so much better. It’s perfectly located right in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, so everything I needed to see or do was within easy reach. The staff were absolutely amazing—friendly, approachable I’d highly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Sydney! Great value, great location, and wonderful service.”
